ANISEE HORCHATA
This month, we teach you how to make horchata with a touch of anise and using dates as a natural sweetener.
Chufa horchata is a refreshing drink, very typical in the summer season.
The main components of tiger nuts are carbohydrates, followed by fat, fiber and protein. The properties of this tuber contribute to the digestive process and to diarrhea, stomach pain and heartburn.
In the same way, anise contains digestive, expectorant and antiseptic properties. In addition to giving it its rich aroma.
Dates, in addition to providing energy and nutritional value, are rich in vitamin C and will sweeten the drink naturally.
INGREDIENTS

200 g of tiger nuts

1 liter of water

4 Medjoul dates

1 tsp anise seeds
STEPS TO FOLLOW

Soak the tiger nuts with water for about 8 hours, once soaked, strain them.

Grind them with the part of water that we will add until we have added the liter and put this mixture in a thin cotton or linen bag.

Blend with the rest of the ingredients and let it cool in the refrigerator.
