THREE RECIPES TO CARE FOR YOUR HAIR
Today I share with you 3 recipes that have been with me for many years and that help me have healthy, shiny and strong hair!
1.HAIR DETOX
This recipe is wonderful, it helps us deeply cleanse the scalp, eliminate waste, dead skin...so that it grows with more vitality!
One of the ingredients that we are going to use will be WHITE CLAY , present in our cleansers and will provide us with minerals, silicon, calm us and reduce inflammation, while strengthening and helping to eliminate toxins.
MATERIALS
-
Mamita Cleansers you can choose 1-006 or 1-007 *If you have very light hair I recommend 1-006.
-
1ch Aloe vera Gel (optional)
-
Warm water
STEPS TO FOLLOW
-
In a bowl, put 1 tablespoon of your cleaner.
-
Add 1 ch of Aloe gel if we have a sensitive scalp
-
Add warm water until you obtain a “soup” of approximately 3 tablespoons.
-
Let it rest for a few minutes
-
Apply to the scalp with a light massage and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
-
Remove with your usual shampoo.
2.HAIR MASK
This mask is applied from lengths to ends, leaving it to act for approximately 30m. For it we will use our Revitalizing Oil that will help us keep our hair moisturized, soft, elastic and strong since it contains olive oil, almonds, jojoba, grape seeds and a lot of vitamin E.
We will also use ginger since it is a great anti-inflammatory, it helps the healthy growth of our hair and fights excess oil, dandruff and irritations.
MATERIALS
-
3Ch soup of our Revitalizing Oil
-
1 egg or 1/2 avocado
-
1 tbsp ginger powder
STEPS TO FOLLOW
-
Mix all the ingredients until they are well integrated
-
Apply to dry hair and leave to act.
-
Remove with warm water (important for the topic- omelet hehehe)
-
Wash with your usual shampoo
3.MACERED IN VINEGAR TO PROVIDE SHINE AND SOFTNESS
This recipe is a time-honored recipe and it continues to work perfectly for me. Just as I have been teaching you all these weeks, we will do a maceration, this time in apple cider vinegar to extract the properties of the plants that we will use.
PROPERTIES
Apple cider vinegar softens, helps balance the pH of our scalp, preserves the natural moisture of our hair and has antibacterial properties so it will help us if we have problems with dandruff, itching and dryness.
MATERIALS
-
Glass container, *if we use a screw lid we will have to put a cloth on it when closing as it can rust and get into the vinegar.
-
Organic apple cider vinegar
-
Rosemary and fresh ginger.
-
Other options: chamomile+calendula (light or sensitive hair) hibiscus+roses+marigold (red) garlic+nettle (dandruff) sage+thyme+nettle (oily)
STEPS TO FOLLOW
-
Sterilized container
-
Fill with our plants and cover with apple cider vinegar
-
Let it marinate for 15 to 30 days in a dark place.
-
Shake every day to transfer the properties of the plants to the vinegar
-
After that time, strain
-
I use it in a spray bottle and put 50% of the macerate and 50% water, if the aroma is very strong you can add essential oils to the macerate.
