SKIN CARE DURING PREGNANCY
During these nine months I have been very aware that during this time taking care of my skin was essential, and not only so that stretch marks did not appear. Taking care of my skin every morning after a shower became a ritual that I gave to myself and the baby.
A moment to be present and connect with Milo, leave the rush and give myself a massage on my body that generated joy and love.
In my case, the first few months my skin was much more sensitive than usual, I even had some rosacea outbreaks. At this time it was very good for me to use the SERUM more frequently; It helped calm my skin thanks to the macerates of medicinal plants and seeds.
During the second trimester I noticed my face was glowing, I also did not stop applying sunscreen on the days when I was most exposed to the sun to avoid hormonal spots that are so prone at this time.
On my body, I did a massage starting with my feet, legs, belly and torso with the OIL . I don't think I stopped using it for a day and now I really notice it and I appreciate it, since my skin is perfect and the recovery after The delivery in my case has been very quick.
Stretch marks appear as a result of sudden and abrupt stretching of the skin, so it is very important to hydrate and feed it very well when it needs it most, so that it does not lose its elasticity and thus help it go through its natural process without breaking. its fibers.
Starting in the third trimester, my nipples began to feel much more sensitive and the friction of clothing bothered me a lot. For this reason, I applied a balm that helped me a lot at this time and has also helped me during the first days of breastfeeding, when my nipples were very sensitive and I got small wounds that were really annoying.
With this balm, I helped that skin regenerate easily and in a few days I already felt much better :)
Here is the recipe for the chafing balm:
Ingredients:
-
25gr of macerated Calendula and Chamomile oil in olive (see here how to prepare a macerate)
-
9gr Shea Butter
-
9g Cocoa Butter
-
7gr Beeswax
Preparation:
-
Put all the ingredients in a bain-marie. Stir very well until the mixture is completely dissolved. *It is very important that you never boil it, as it would lose its properties.
-
Remove from heat and pour the mixture into a previously sterilized container.
-
Let it solidify without covering the container.
Ready to use 24 hours after preparation.
We hope it works for you :)
