BROTH TO MAINTAIN HYDRATION
Are you feeling a little weak after the low winter temperatures?
I usually drink a lot of broths during this time of year that help me maintain skin hydration, in addition to providing me with all the vitamins and minerals I need.
So today we wanted to share with you this delicious recipe ♥
You can also leave it prepared and drink it warm before meals, this way you prepare the digestive system. It is very appropriate in the colder months but can be had at any time of the year and especially to start dinner.
The ingredients are the usual vegetables for vegetable broth:
Cabbage, onion, leek, celery, turnip, parsnip, fennel, carrot, pumpkin, baby bean, cauliflower, artichoke and potato .
It is not necessary that you include them all, and if you prefer you can also combine them with others that you like more.
The steps to follow are very simple:
Boil the vegetables for 20 minutes and then strain them so that a rich and consistent broth remains. To enrich it you can add a piece of Kombu seaweed, a bay leaf and a Shitake boletus.
At the time of serving, when it is already warm, add a teaspoon of Miso per diner. This helps our intestinal flora and if you like lemon juice, you can also add a splash to achieve an alkalizing drink.
Remember to use all foods well! The vegetables that you have used to make the broth can be pureed separately if you grind them.
I hope you enjoy it as much as me. Broth is always a good complement to a healthy diet,
enjoy!
